Diet wet food for cats with digestive disorders
Diarrhea and vomiting are among the most common health disorders that occur in cats.
The causes of diarrhea and vomiting are very diverse. The causes for this are mostly nutritional errors (too much, too cold, too fast change of feed), disturbances of the bacterial intestinal flora (overgrowth with pathogenic germs), parasites, fungi, bacteria and viruses – but also fundamental diseases of the organs such as the esophagus, the stomach, of the intestines and pancreas. If a cat has diarrhea and vomiting over a long period of time, it loses more and more of its body’s water and important minerals (electrolytes) – this can lead to dehydration and the development of deficiencies. In addition, a long-term gastrointestinal disease in cats can lead to severe emaciation.
